Late Late Toy Show 2024 - Can you spot these toys?

Ah, the Late Late Toy Show, this year programmed on the 6th of December and I can't wait! It is always a good night in front of the telly for me and my now "older kids" too...
I love the buzz, the emotions and above all the display of kids talents. And you know what? This sense of fun and creative madness is exactly what brought me to Ireland in the first place, about 30 years ago now.

Now, when it comes to toys, here at Mimitoys, I am about traditional toys that engage kids into what they love to do and do best, play, explore and learn.

Like every year, I am happy to send a few toys over to the Late Late Toy Show team for their consideration and testing by the children.
Over the years, I have have been lucky to get beautiful toys & puppets featured and displayed. It is always a fantastic way to get my business Mimitoys.ie in the spotlight, for a few seconds!
Let's cross fingers and toes in 2024 again and let's hope that some of the toys I have sent have conquered the little testers hearts.
Otherwise, let's play who can spot them on the screen?

What these toys also all have in common is:

  • they encourage children's interests and skills
  • they do not go out of fashion
  • these toys do not follow a heavily branded character
  • they that can be passed on to someone else because they last!
  • they encourage open-ended play where children take the lead and can challenge themselves at their own pace
  • these toys inspire children's love for playing and having fun.
